What do I do if I don’t have Medical Insurance?
- If you don’t have insurance, you may qualify for Medicaid. The State of Louisiana is allowing more adults, age 19-64 with a limited income, to receive Medicaid benefits. How much you get depends on how much you make each year.
- For information on Medicare, Medicaid and other government supported health care programs, visit www.cms.hhs.gov.
- And, if you already get SNAP, you may already be registered. If you think you might qualify, call our Financial Assistance Center at (318) 539-1095. - We’ll help you find out and do the paperwork.
