About Me

I grew up in Taylor, Arkansas.  I have been married to my husband, Charles, for 27 years and I have a 25 yo daughter, Emily.  I enjoy gardening and spending time with friends.  I also love Broadway musicals and all things Disney.  I chose to be a family physician because I enjoy multiple aspects of medicine.  I wanted variety and wanted to see all ages.  I also knew pretty early on that I preferred working in a rural area and family medicine along with other primary care specialties is very needed in the rural community.
